Banka today is an administrative district with district headquarters at Banka town situated in the south of Bihar bordered with Jharkhand. Blocks under the district of Banka include; Banka, Rajon, Amarpur, Dhoraiya, Katoria, Bausi, Shambhuganj, Barahat, Belhar, Chandan, Phulidumar.
