62Begusarai situated on the river Ganges in North Bihar was carved out of Munger district in the 1870s. The name Begusarai is derived after a person called “Begu” living here “Sarai”. The vast KaverLake is situated in this district making it a natural habitat for special birds of which currently 59 types that flies from outside India and 107 types of local birds have been identified. It is one of most industrialised of the districts of Bihar containing Indian Oil Refineries of Barauni, and Hindustan Fertilizer Limited, Thermal power station and numerous of smaller units including petrochemicals and leather tanning within the private sectors. The Ghats of the Ganga at Simaria has special religious significance for devotees and tourists.

MAINE 'JAT-JATIN' KA LAGBHAG 1200 SE ADHIK PRASTUNTIYAN KI HAI. 'AAJ KA ABHIMANU' KE 1501 PARDARSAN MAIN KIYA HAI. DINKAR BHAWAN MAIN LAGATAR NATAK HOTE RAHTE HAIN.
