The Bihar School Examination Board is the primary board exams that are conducted by the Bihar Government. It was established primarily for the end of school exams for the ages of 16 to 18 years of age. Bihar School Examination Board carries out secondary school exams twice annually that is. The yearly examination is usually carried out in the calendar month of Feb/March. Additional exams are normally taken in the calendar month of July/Aug. 2 classes of pupils come along at the additional examination i.e. 'A' & 'C'. 'A' entails all contents. 'C' entails compartmental that is. Pupils who prefer to clear their subjects, in which they were unsuccessful at the yearly examination, appear as compartmental examinees.
The exams can be either take in Hindi or English dependent on the medium of the school. The results are announced through the website or notified on the notice board at the centre. Usually the names or roll numbers are used for finding out the School Examination Board results.

Bihar state Board English Medium training is just like ICSE stream of training run by Christian members as usual in other English medium schools.The standard in the first language english so typical that one has to plays of Shakespeare and sonnets as well.Most of the candidates in english medium from the state board are selected in IAS and IPS through Intermediate training and then JNU and Calcutta University training .It was started by Dr.Rajendra Prasad in which Jesuit Fathers were present in the committee.
