The Patna Passport office regulated by the “Indian passport authority” is situated at D-Block, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna-1. Patna passport office is the only office in region serving the region of Bihar. It is the only passport issuing office for Bihar that caters for all districts in state of Bihar.
Like several passports office in India, it is a situated in a high rise building in the Maurya Lok region, Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The opening times are from 10 am to 6pm. Although the first few hours are reserved for applications; only half an hour from 5.30 to 6pm is reserved for the collection of passports. There are 8 counters catering for various enquires. After the initial hurdles of getting a passport in India, the Patna passport office has an online application checking system. There are 3 applications forms to submit; application form 1 and 2 along with a Personal Particulars Form.

SIR MY PASSPORT NO WAS B-1124923 WHICH WAS EXPIRED ON 30.12.99 AGAINST WHICH A FRESH PASSPORT WAS ISSUED TO ME ON 19.07.2009 WHICH WAS EXTENDED FOR ONE YEAR ONLY BY INDIAN EMBASSY JEDDAH.THIS PASSPORT EXPIRES ON 18.07.2010 AND YESTERDAY IT WAS AGAIN RENEWED BY INDIAN EMBASSY JEDDAH FOR ONE YEAR ONLY.
THEY TOLD THAT STILL NO ENQUIRY REPORT IS SEND TO US BY PASSPORT OFFICE PATNA. WHEN ENQUIRY WILL COME FROM THEM WE CAN EXTAND IT FOR FURTHER 10 YRS PL.
I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE SEND & UPDATE THE ENUIRY RELATED DEATIL REGARDING MY PASSPORT.

after previous passport has already been issued to me.but unfortunately my father name is wrongly record has Mohammad nisaqr uddin,the correct name is Mohammad nisar uddin.I submitted as application to passport office along with my original passport which is issue to me..
for correction of father name in the passport.
I have not received back the original passport do the correct.kindly look into the matter and direct your office to send me to back the original passport to the correct.
