Bihari

The word Bihari is wised to denote people from the state of Bihar in India. Bihari Biharis can be those who where born in the state of Bihar. The main language of Bihar is Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili and Magahi (Magadhi).

Several great freedom fighters were from Bihar and were Bhojpuri language speakers. Some of the notable fighters were Swami Sahajanand Saraswati and Manoj Bajpai. Our first president Rajendra Prasad's native tongue was Bhojpuri. Lal Bahadur Shastri and Chandra Shekhar were also Bhojpuri language speakers. The language experienced many changes all over the globe. It mixed with the native languages well and gave way to lot of permutations and combinations in terms of dialects.

Verbal development was swifter when compared to the Lithia development. Hence, the language developed in songs and speeches rather than in writings. This acted a greater disadvantage to impede the growth of the language. Being a very ancient language whose date of origin is not clearly known yet, it had several extraordinary works from scholars.

However, they were not established in writing. Hence, lost over generations. This loss has led to the slow development of the language's literature work. Yet, the language owners proved their excellence by creating works every generation.
